How do I use my Bank of Utah Pinnacle Card with Apple Pay?

Option 1: If accessing via the Bank of Utah Pinnacle Card mobile app (Recommended).

1. Launch the mobile app on your iPhone and log in to your account.
2. On the Dashboard, select the card you wish to add to your wallet.
3. Under the Card Details page, choose Add to Apple Wallet.
4. The Name and Card Number will be automatically displayed. Click Next.
5. After reading the Terms and Conditions, click Agree.
6. Your card is now added. On the Card Verification window, choose how to verify your card for Apple Pay. Once completed, click Next.
   • For SMS Verification: Ensure the correct phone number is linked to your account to receive SMS codes. Update or verify the phone number if necessary.
   • For Email Verification: Ensure the email address associated with your account is up to date and accurate to receive verification codes. Update the email address if needed.
7. To verify the card, go to Settings on your iPhone device and select Wallet & Apple Pay.
8. Click Verify next to your Bank of Utah Pinnacle Card.
9. Enter the verification code you have received, then click Next.

10. Your Bank of Utah Pinnacle Card is now activated and ready for Apple Pay.

     

Option 2: If accessing via the Apple Wallet.

1. Go to Apple Wallet and select the “+” sign at the top right corner.
2. Choose Debit or Credit Card.
3. Click Continue.
4. Add your Bank of Utah Pinnacle Card by either scanning the card or entering the details manually.
5. The Name and Card Number will be displayed. Click Next.
6. Verify the expiration date and security code on your card. Once done, click Next.
7. After reading the Terms and Conditions, click Agree.
8.  Your card is now added. On the Card Verification window, choose how to verify your card for Apple Pay. Once completed, click Next.
   • For SMS Verification: Ensure the correct phone number is linked to your account to receive SMS codes. Update or verify the phone number if necessary.
   • For Email Verification: Ensure the email address associated with your account is up to date and accurate to receive verification codes. Update the email address if needed.
9. To verify the card, choose Enter Code.
10. Enter the verification code you have received, then click Next.
11. Your card is now activated and ready for Apple Pay.
