The Bank of Utah Card expense management platform offers a real-time, bi-directional integration with QuickBooks Online. You can pull in data such as your chart of accounts, locations, customers, and more. You can then sync coded credit card transactions, along with receipt images, directly as expenses in QBO.
1. Log in to to https://creditcards.bankofutah.com.
2. Click on Company Settings in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
3. Select the Integrations tab from the top menu.
4. Locate QuickBooks and toggle the Enable QuickBooks switch to the "On" position.
(Located in the screenshot below, once you toggle the switch to enable the integration, the slider will transition from white to blue to indicate that QuickBooks is now active.)
5. Click the Configure button, then select Reconnect to QuickBooks to open the Intuit login window.
6. You will be redirected to log in to your Intuit/QuickBooks account and select the company you want to link. Enter in your QuickBooks credentials, click continue and you will be directed back to the Bank of Utah card platform.
7. Once redirected back, click Pull Fields Data, this pulls in your Expense Accounts, Locations, and Customers and any other relevant fields from QBO.
8. The integration setup is now complete. To confirm, navigate to the transactions module, then click into the details of an individual transaction. You should see a new section called “ERP Fields”.
